IDKC is a new program for No More Homeless Pets Kansas City, a leading non-profit deeply concerned with animal welfare in the Kansas City area. NMHPKC has set the important goal of turning Kansas City into a no-kill community by 2012 and IDKC is the newest part of that effort. Shelters are full of lost pets, however through community education and by ensuring that all pets have an ID tag, we can greatly reduce the number of pets who are euthanized every year.
